Welcome to The Yellow Snail!

This page was originally going to be a kids site however I have decided that this is going to be my space. My space to think out loud, to share information and to just have fun.

Why The Yellow Snail You ask?

Well Yellow, because it is a colour you look at and smile, it can brighten a day and make you feel warm.
A snail because I love the idea behind them.
A snail has a beginning and an end destination. It doesn't worry about how long it takes to get there, it can stop and munch, look at nature and sun itself along the way. It always leaves a trail so that you know it has been there.

I have decided that this site's 'mission statement' if you will, is to make you feel good about being you, to learn interesting things about the world and to make you smile and realise the 'happy moments' in your day.

So here (well not here yet as this is the initial page) will be a selection of quotes, links, stories, photos and blogs that show the world is infact an interesting, fascinating, beautiful place....if not a little odd.
